Latest News: The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts in Hagerstown has accepted two of my images -- "Habana Textures" and "Pond Poetry" -- for the 2025 Cumberland Valley Photographers Competition and Exhibit, which will run March 29 through July 27 in the museum's Bowman and Baer galleries.

"Mercedes Bends" was accepted for display in the Teeny Tiny Art Show sponsored by the Allegany Arts Council. The multi-media exhibit, where each work is no bigger than 5 inches, opens in the Hazen Gallery at Allegany College of Maryland in Cumberland on Saturday, March 1. The juried show received more than 150 entries from artists nationwide and will run through March 22.

The Maryland Photography Alliance, an association of 22 camera clubs in the region, recognized two of my images, "Chevy CL Senescence" and "Chevelle Abstract" with Honorable Mention awards during its 8th annual juried show in November. The competition attracted more than 1,200 entries in four categories. The two prints are now displayed at the State of Maryland House of Delegates in Annapolis through April 7.

"Punctuations" received the 1st Place award in the 2024 Membership Exhibition of the Allegany Arts Council. The multi-media show was held at the Lyric Theatre in Frostburg, Maryland.

Two images -- "Design & Decay (Color)" and "Punctuations" -- were accepted in the Spring 2024 Members' Show of the Maryland Federation of Art in Annapolis, MD. "Design & Decay" also received an Honorable Mention award in the multi-media show and was purchased while on display at the MFA's Circle Gallery across from the Maryland State House.

"Organic Architecture, Native American Museum" received the 1st place award in the Architecture category of the Maryland Photography Alliance's 7th annual photo contest. Overall, 933 images were submitted for consideration in 4 categories. The black-and-white print previously won a 1st place award in the Monochrome category of the Frederick Camera Clique's annual juried show and also was exhibited several months in 2024 in the Maryland State House of Delegates in Annapolis and the Activity Center of Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg, MD.
